This oil pastel drawing I made for the Cure song "All Cats Are Grey" from the album "Faith" from 1981.
As you can see on my username it's one of my all-time favourite songs by my favourite band!
For everyone who doesn't know this song, here is the album version (which was also used for the movie "Marie Antoinette" by Sofia Coppola): [link] and a wonderful live version of it (which I listened to when I drew this) is here: [link] ... it's a bit different to the album version but equally beautiful.
And for everyone interested, these are the lyrics:

i like this artwork a lot. it gives so wistful, but calm feeling... very emotional.
I love this song very much and it always means very much to me.. but somehow for me it associates with soul-weariness and very deep all-embracing melancholy.. your picture gives me more light, heartwarming emotions... but it's just me
